About Me
I’m Krystian Lewandowski — a software developer with over 20 years of commercial experience, specializing in system-level and cross-platform development. I work across mobile ecosystems, embedded platforms, and kernel-level systems, and I enjoy driving complex projects from architecture through to full delivery.
Throughout my career I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of cutting-edge projects for major technology and mobile service providers — from building an AirPlay server prototype on Android, to contributing kernel drivers accepted into the official OpenBSD tree, to designing secure payment encoding libraries for custom hardware.
What I Do
Mobile & Embedded
Deep experience in Android (AOSP, wearOS, JNI, HALs, BSPs) and Apple platforms (iOS, macOS, tvOS). From system services to user-facing applications.
Systems & Security
Kernel-level work on OpenBSD, BSP integration at co-processor level, BLE protocols, LoRaWAN for IoT, and security features including Passkey for AOSP.
AI & Automation
Currently working with AI/LLM models, building custom multi-agent tooling, and automating complex system workflows.
Experience

Progressed through various technical roles, leading and contributing to projects spanning mobile platforms, multimedia and connectivity, system security, and cross-platform core development. Served as Tech Lead across multiple engagements, managing entire delivery processes including development, testing, and CI/CD.
Highlights include architecting a prototype AirPlay server for AOSP, implementing streaming solutions with ONVIF/RTSP, maintaining cross-platform SDKs across Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux, and leading integration of a rich SVG rendering solution supporting all major 32/64-bit platforms.
2005 — 2008: Siemens / Nokia Siemens Networks — Software Engineer / Technical Lead
2001 — 2005: Municipal Culture Centre — IT / Instructor. Established a local Linux Users Group.
